Official Statement Release
On February 7, 2014, Georgetown University’s Black Student Alliance made news in the Hoya with false allegations surrounding a boycott against The Corp. To clarify, there is not, nor has there ever been a Black Student Alliance endorsed boycott against any other fellow student run organization.
In the wake of this deceptive and potentially uproarious article, members of both the Black Student Alliance and The Corp decided to take the opportunity surrounding these fallacious claims to meet and dispel any rumors and discuss initiatives that can improve our relationship moving forward. As influential organizations at Georgetown University, we are both committed to cultivating solidarity amongst historically disconnected communities. We are newly dedicated to cultivating a stronger unity between our organizations, through a number of exciting collaborations and partnerships. Please be on the look out for more information.
